It’s hard to win an NBA title if your team doesn’t have a solid core of three players who can help the team succeed in the postseason. Milwaukee Bucks fans are fortunate that they have their own big three that can take on some of the best trios in the league.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and Khris Middleton may not be the most eye-catching Big 3 in the NBA right now, but they’re doing a great job in helping the Bucks establish themselves as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
While many within the league would argue that the Bucks’ big trio may not be enough to bring the Bucks back into the league, a list has been published that highlights how effective the three are compared to the rest of the league.

Basketball Forever published a list of the best three-player combinations in the league. They had Antetokounmpo, Lillard, and Middleton as the fourth-best Big Three in the league.
Basketball Forever ranks Giannis, Dame, and Middleton as the FOURTH best big 3 in the NBA ahead of the 2024-25 season:
Celtics: Tatum, Brown, Porzingis — 1st
Mavericks: Luka, Kyrie, Klay — 2nd
76ers: Embiid, George, Maxey — 3rd
Bucks: Giannis, Dame, Middleton — 4th

It’s understandable to see why the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, and Philadelphia 76ers would be ranked higher than the Bucks. One could argue that the three squads have a better all-around game than the Bucks.
However, it’s not weird to predict the Bucks going toe-to-toe with the three squads if Lillard and Middleton get back to their All-Star form. Giannis will always be a problematic player for opposing coaches to plan against, so the other two stepping up in the regular season and the playoffs is what the Bucks probably need to return to the Finals.
