The Milwaukee Bucks have made a lowkey move recently when they signed big man Anžejs Pasečņiks to a two-way contract, which was announced via the team’s official website.
The Milwaukee Bucks have signed center Anžejs Pasečņiks to a Two-Way contract and have waived Two-Way forward Jaylin Galloway.
Although Pasečņiks isn’t a household name, he is no stranger to NBA basketball. He has played before for the Washington Wizards from the 2019-20 to the 2020-21 seasons. In 28 games overall with the Wizards, the Latvian center averaged 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting 52.1 percent from the field.
Milwaukee Bucks Add A Big Body
Perhaps some Bucks fans will remember Pasečņiks for that one time at the 2020 NBA Bubble where Thanasis Antetokounmpo put him on a poster.

As a player on a two-way contract, the 28-year-old Pasečņiksis eligible to play in up to 50 of the Bucks’ 82 games in the 2024-25 season. If he’s not playing, he will still be allowed to join Milwaukee practices and even sit on the bench, albeit as an inactive player. According to Spotrac, the Bucks currently have three players on two-way deals including Pasečņiks. The other two are shooting guard Ryan Rollins and guard Stanley Umude.
Pasečņiksis is not expected to play a big role for Milwaukee, but he can be a solid insurance. The Bucks have a frontcourt that features the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brooky Lopez, and Bobby Portis. It’s tough to imagine Pasečņiksis surpassing any of those guys on the pecking order, but he likely will still be given some time to shine on the floor.
