    Milwaukee Bucks are dominating Western Conference teams in 2022-23

    With their win over the Portland Trailblazers on Monday night, the Milwaukee Bucks upped their record to 16-4 (.800 winning percentage) against Western Conference opponents this season, the highest winning percentage of any Eastern Conference team against the West.

    The Bucks are tied for second with the Memphis Grizzlies for the second-best overall record at 37-17 (.685), one game behind the Boston Celtics, who are 38-16. Part of the Bucks’ 2022-23 success has been their play in non-conference games against the West. While the Bucks are a +8 in wins against teams in the Eastern Conference (21-13), they are +12 (16-4) against the Western Conference foes.

    The Milwaukee Bucks have the NBA’s best record outside their conference this season

    The Bucks have the best non-conference winning percentage of any team in the league this year. Their 16-4 (.800) mark is percentage points better than the Western Conference Grizzlies who are 17-5 (.773) against Eastern Conference foes this season. Eleven teams are above .500 against non-conference teams this season; three teams are playing .500 in non-conference contests.

    Here is a look at the 14 teams who have a winning percentage of .500 or better in non-conference games this season in the NBA.

    .500-Atlanta (10-10)
    .500-Brooklyn (10-10)

    The Bucks have 10 games remining against Western Conference teams this season.

    Milwaukee was 18-12 (.600) against Western Conference foes in 2021-22, 16-14 (.533) in 2020-21 and 19-10 (.655) in 2019-20.
