The Milwaukee Bucks are fresh off a historic game against the Washington Wizards. In the 124-114 win, superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo posted his third triple-double of the season, collecting 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, matching Wilt Chamberlain for most 30-point triple-doubles. Meanwhile, star guard Damian Lillard tallied a 25-point double-double. However, only some members of the Bucks had a standout night, with one second-year guard struggling mightly in the win.
Starting shooting guard Andre Jackson, who took over the role for fellow guard Gary Trent earlier in the year, went just 1-of-7 from the field while failing to record an assist for the first time this season while playing at least ten minutes. Yet, one data-driven basketball site has Jackson as a bounce-back candidate when the Bucks face off against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
ShotQuality Expects Positive Regressions For Andre Jackson Jr.

According to the official ShotQuality website:
We use computer vision and AI to deliver player location data, which drives basketball’s most predictive shot models.
ShotQuality, a data-driven company that used AI and computer visualization to determine the quality of a shot by a player using over 90 variables, believes there is positive regression awaiting guard Andre Jackson Jr. On Saturday, Jackson Jr. scored just two points on a lowly 1-of-7 from the field and 0-for from downtown but had nine ShotQuality points. ShotQuality, or SQ, had Jackson scoring nine points on his seven shot attempts based on the quality of the looks he received, a stark difference from his cold shooting night overall.
Jackson, the 36th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, has struggled immensely from the field since shifting to the starting lineup. He has shot just 36% from the field as a starter, compared to 43% as a reserve. As a rookie, Jackson shot 50% from the floor.
Bucks Face the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday

The Milwaukee Bucks will play the Detroit Pistons in Group Play on Tuesday. This season, Milwaukee is 3-0 in group play, tied with Detroit for the divisional lead. Tuesday will mark the finale for group play before the three division winners and a wild card move into the next round. The eight remaining teams will enter a single-elimination tournament to win the NBA Cup. Last season, the Los Angeles Lakers won the first-ever NBA Cup, beating the Indiana Pacers 123-109.
