It’s barely been a month since the regular started season but already, it is clear that Milwaukee Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin is the right man for the job.
The rookie coach has had his fair share of ups and downs throughout what has been an eventful first month of sitting at the helm but for the most part, he’s done a commendable job as the team’s head honcho.
Adrian Griffin Has Nothing But Love for Milwaukee Bucks

Sunday’s incredible comeback win against the Portland Trail Blazers was another example of Griffin’s grace under pressure. Obviously, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo who led the charge for the Bucks on the basketball court, but you also have to give a lot of credit to Coach Griff for orchestrating the 26-point comeback.
Griffin heaped praise on his team after their tremendous effort against the Blazers. The 49-year-old acknowledged the rough road his squad has traversed over the past month, but he remains extremely proud of how they’ve all handled the adversity:
“I think we started out the game OK,” Griffin said of Sunday’s win, via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I just think that we just gotta keep fighting through adversity. Sometimes when we miss a shot or maybe we miss a layup, it becomes deflating to our team. But that stuff happens. We just gotta keep fighting through it and try not to let one possession turn into three, four, five, six possessions. I love this team. We’re a gritty team. And we just gotta stay together. There’s a lot of expectations on our team and I think they’ve been handling it well. But sometimes things happen. It’s never going to be perfect and we gotta stick together and we gotta keep fighting and I thought we did that. I thought we showed what we were made of.”

There’s no doubt that the Bucks will be facing much more and much tougher challenges down the road. You could actually say that all these early trials are a good thing in that they are able to test their character early on.
Through it all, they will have a loyal mentor who will be guiding them in Adrian Griffin.
