The Milwaukee Bucks (20-8) will take on the Utah Jazz (17-14) tonight at 7:00 PM CST at Firserv Forum. Milwaukee is looking to bounce back after a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. Although, it is interesting to note, the last team to lose by over 40 points to the Grizzlies won the NBA Championship (Golden State last year). Unfortunately, the Bucks will be without a few key players, and maybe even without Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Bucks Had Four Players on the Injury Report Yesterday
According to CBS Sports, the Bucks had four players on the injury report on Firday:
- Jrue Holiday (illness)- Game time decision
- Serge Ibaka (Illness)- Game time decision
- Khris Middleton (knee soreness)- Out
- Joe Ingles (knee recovery)- Out
That being said, the Bucks also got great news about Ingles on Friday. According to reports, he could make his return to the court (and his Bucks debut) as early as Monday. The final hurdle is making it through five-on-five practices with the rest of the team.
The Bucks Added Giannis to the Injury Report Today
The Milwaukee Bucks made one more addition to the injury report today. Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as a game time decision with knee soreness. With Middleton already ruled out, it is possible that the Bucks face the Jazz without any of their top three players.
This home game against the Jazz will be the final home game the Bucks play before heading out on a five-game road trip. They will make stops against the New Orleans Pelicans, Cleveland Cavaliers, Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, and Chicago Bulls. The Bucks will not play at home again until December 30 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
