Milwaukee Brewers pitchers and catchers report in the coming days to spring training, with position players coming in afterwards. Thrown into the mix this spring is the World Baseball Class (WBC), where players will depart from their camps and participate in meaningful games on the international stage.

This go around, nine Brewers players, from the 40-man roster, are officially on WBC rosters.

    • Abner Uribe – Dominican Republic
    • Joey Ortiz – Mexico
    • Carlos Rodriguez – Nicaragua
    • Brice Turang – United States of America
    • William Contreras – Venezuela
    • Jackson Chourio – Venezuela
    • Angel Zerpa – Venezuela
    • Rob Zastryzny – Canada
    • Tyler Black – Canada

Of this group of players, Rodriguez, a right-handed pitcher, is the only person who played in the last WBC, which was in 2023. For the remainder, this is their first shot at representing their country on the international stage.

The 2026 WBC officially begins on Thursday, March 5, 2026 and runs through Tuesday, March 17, 2026. This means we are less than one month away from one of the most exciting tournaments in baseball.
