Tough news on the injury front today.
Yesterday it was reported that Aaron Ashby will be out likely toward the end of the season as he undergoes surgery for a torn labrum in his shoulder.
Today, outfielder Tyrone Taylor had a small setback in his recovery from a sprained right elbow according to Manager Craig Counsell. The hope is that Taylor can resume a throwing regimen sometime next week.
Taylor was slated to be the starting right fielder this season, but with the Joey Wiemer has played as of late, it might be tough for Taylor to get his old spot back.
Taylor last season, batted .233, 17 home runs, and 51 RBIs in 120 games for the Brewers.
