The Milwaukee Brewers have had a hard time keeping starting pitchers healthy this year. Players like DL Hall, Jakob Junis, Joe Ross, and Wade Miley are some who are currently on the injured list. Recently one of these mentioned players began an injury rehab assignment and another one who was not mentioned has made several appearances.
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jakob Junis has begun an injury rehab assignment.

Jakob Junis signed late into the off-season with the Brewers. He has made just one big league appearance this year and that came on April 2. While he was recovering and rehabbing back from injury there were some reports indicating that he could come back as a bullpen arm, but after his injury rehab assignment was announced it sounds like the plan is to build his pitch count back up.
Right-hander Jakob Junis is beginning his minor-league rehab assignment tonight at Class AAA Nashville.
He’ll need several outings to build back up, but definitely good timing for the Brewers.

Jakob Junis, whose lone Brewers appearance this year was April 2, just began a rehab assignment tonight in Triple-A.
The result, 6 up and 6 down. 3 strikeouts. 15 of 21 pitches strikes.
Sounds like the plan is to build his pitch count back up.

Taylor Clarke has been operating as a starting pitcher while on injury rehab assignment.

31 year old Taylor Clarke, who was acquired by the Brewers in December via a trade with the Kansas City Royals, has been operating as a starting pitcher while on injury rehab assignment following surgery to address a meniscus tear. Clarke has six games underneath his belt with four of them being starts and the most recent being a four inning outing. While once a more consistent starting pitcher (2019) Clarke has operated as a bullpen arm over the past few seasons.
Right-hander Taylor Clarke pitched four scoreless innings at Class AAA Nashville on Sunday and has six minor-league rehab outings under his belt.
Expect him to be joining the Brewers sometime soon.

The Milwaukee Brewers starting pitching group continues to be thin.

On Wednesday, June 5 all indications are that the Brewers will be calling upon Aaron Ashby to make a spot start for the team. He is taking the recently optioned Tobias Myers spot, but also Robert Gasser is now dealing with an ailment. Hopefully both Clarke and Junis can return to the big league soon in order to help bring the starting pitching depth back up.
