The Milwaukee Brewers are coming off a sweep against the Chicago White Sox and they will be heading on the road for a three-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies. The first pitch between Milwaukee and Philadelphia will take place at 5:40 p.m. CT at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In this game, the projected starting pitchers will be Bryse Wilson (3-1 record, 3.19 ERA) for the Brewers and Zach Wheeler (6-3 record, 2.32 ERA) for the Phillies. This could be a potential NLCS preview for the 2024 MLB postseason.

The Milwaukee Brewers are currently leading the National League Central with a 36-23 record and manager Pat Murphy has a chance to be the National League Manager of the Year. As for the Philadelphia Phillies, they have the best record in the National League at 41-19. Phillies manager Rob Thomson has his ball club playing at a ridiculous pace right now.

Designated hitter Rhys Hoskins will be returning to Citizens Bank Park for the first time since playing for the Phillies. Will see what kind of standing ovation he receives from the fanbase. Hoskins is projected to bat sixth in this contest.

In 40 games played so far this season for the Milwaukee Brewers, he has a .239 batting average with nine home runs and 27 RBIs, along with one stolen base. Hoskins’s on-base percentage is .339.

Catcher William Contreras is projected to bat second for Milwaukee. He has a .316 batting average in 59 games played along with eight home runs and 44 RBIs, along with four stolen bases. Contreras has a .388 on-base percentage.

Bryse Wilson has pitched in 14 games and has started in seven of them for the Brewers. He has pitched in 48.0 innings and has given up 40 hits and 18 runs. Wilson has also walked 19 batters and has struck out 39 batters.

First baseman Bryce Harper was the National League Player of the Month for the Philadelphia Phillies in May. He is projected to bat third against the Brewers on Monday night.

Harper has played in 55 games so far this season and has a .270 batting average with 14 home runs and 44 RBIs, along with three stolen bases and two caught stealing attempts. Bryce Harper also has a .373 on-base percentage.

Designated hitter Kyle Schwarber has played in 58 games so far this season for the Phillies and is projected to bat leadoff on Monday night. He has a .239 batting average with 11 home runs and 35 RBIs, along with four stolen bases and one caught stealing attempt. Schwarber’s on-base percentage is .362.

Zach Wheeler has pitched in 12 games so far this season for Philadelphia. He has pitched in 73.2 innings and has given up 47 hits and 23 runs. Wheeler has also walked 23 batters and struck out 85 batters.

This is going to be a tough task for the Milwaukee Brewers against the Philadelphia Phillies. This will be a good measuring stick for Milwaukee against Philadelphia.
