The Brewers are currently dealing with multiple injuries to their starting pitching staff for Brandon Woodruff, Wade Miley, and Aaron Ashby are all out. Performance wise they have struggled in May but they are coming off a series win against the Houston Astros that featured two consecutive shutouts.
