Former Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun spent his entire career with the franchise from 2007 to 2020. He made an impact on the field and off the field for the franchise.

Braun retired after the 2020 MLB season. He is one of the best players who ever put on a Milwaukee Brewers uniform. Earlier this week, former Brewers pitcher C.C. Sabathia was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Reviewingthebrew.com Writer Eric Fischer Makes Case For Ryan Braun To Potentially Be Next Former Milwaukee Brewers Player To Make the Hall Of Fame

With C.C. Sabathia now going into the Baseball Hall of Fame, many Milwaukee Brewers fans are wondering which former players on the roster will be next to be heading into Cooperstown. One of the players that reviewingthebrew.com writer Eric Fischer mentioned as someone who could head into Cooperstown next is former Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun.
There seems to be mixed reactions about Braun about him making the Hall of Fame down the line or not. Fischer said:
“Many players don’t play their entire in Milwaukee, at least not those who play in the bigs for longer than 5 years. Ryan Braun was different. In fact, only 2 players spent more time in a Milwaukee uniform, Robin Yount and Jim Ganter. Braun’s career spanned 14 years and may be one of the most decorated Brewers of all time. A 6x All Star, 5x Silver Slugger, 2012 Home Run leader, 2011 MVP, and 2007 NL Rookie of the Year, with a career average of .296, 352 home runs, and 1,963 hits. Braun also had a penchant for the big moment, coming up in the clutch in so many moments in Brewers history.
Braun will be eligible for the first time on the 2026 ballot, after formally retiring in 2021. Braun’s candidacy will largely depend on how voters of that time look back at guys with steroid clouded pasts. Given the current trajectory, it may be a win just to make it past the required 5% to stay on the ballot. Braun did remain solid in his later career, which may be enough to warrant some additional consideration, either by the BBWAA or by the Eras Committee down the road.”
Braun also had 1,154 RBIs and 216 stolen bases in his MLB career. A couple of noticeable names who will join the ballot in 2026 are former Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Cole Hamels and Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon. Having those two players alone on the ballot right away will be very stiff competition for former Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun.
Some people have questioned Braun about his steroid-clouded past. Next year, former Boston Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez will be entering the final year of being eligible to make the Hall of Fame and hasn’t yet because of being questioned about using steroids during his MLB career.
