The Milwaukee Brewers, like every other Major League team, have fun ways to introduce their rookie players to the Show. On the cold, windy day that saw the Brewers down the Chicago Cubs 3-1, the team felt that hot coffee would be a good way to stay warm. There is a Starbucks located across the street from Wrigley Field. After all 26 players placed their coffee orders, they sent four rookies, in full uniform, out of the stadium with a cart to fetch the massive coffee order. The Brewers organization tweeted out a video of the fun on Twitter.

It was 39 degrees in Chicago with 23 mph winds. It was in this weather that Brice Turang, Garrett Mitchell, Peter Strzelecki, and Gus Varland were dispatched for the team’s coffee:

Joey Wiemer, who made his Major League debut, was excused from excursion. Instead, he was taking in Wrigley Field for the first time as a Major League player.
