Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Rhys Hoskins had a massive first inning grand slam on Friday night against the New York Mets. Aside from giving the Brew Crew an early advantage in the game that grand slam marked the teams 10th of the season in which Hoskins’ owns three of them.

This year the Brewers have been able to find another gear when up to bat with two outs. On Friday night a Rhys Hoskins grand slam was set up by a pair of two out walks (one runner already on base) from William Contreras and Willy Adames.

The 2024 Milwaukee Brewers have hit 10 grand slams and Rhys Hoskins has three of them.
Currently the 2024 Brewers are tied with the 1995 team for the most grand slams in a single season. In 1995 John Jaha hit three, Matt Mieske two, and Darryl Hamilton, David Nilsson, Joe Oliver, Kevin Seitzer, and Jose Valetin all hit one. Additionally Hosksins has tied John Jaha (1995), Devon White (2001) and John Vander Wal (2003) with three grand slams in a single season.
