The Milwaukee Brewers have been advancing their 19 year old phenom prospect quickly through the minor league ranks. This of course is outfielder Jackson Chourio, who is currently in Double-A with the Biloxi Shuckers. Despite being the youngest player in the Southern League, he is currently leading the league with 17 runs batted in!
Jackson Chourio extended his league leading RBI total on Friday night with a run scoring single in the first inning.

Milwaukee Brewers prospect Jackson Chourio is driving in runs in various ways.
Over the last week Jackson Chourio has contributed eight RBI without the courtesy of hitting a home run. Perhaps his most impressive contribution during this stretch was a bases load walk to give the Shuckers a lead in the eighth inning.

He’s also been very good at situational hitting. This next clip shows him flying out to the right field warning track with the bases loaded and one out. A SAC fly RBI in this early game situation tied the game back up at one.

Over the first month of the minor league season, it has been a lot of fun to watch Jackson Chourio play baseball. Hopefully this promising young prospect can continue to deliver highlight plays and help the Biloxi Shuckers win games.
