With the Magic Number now at three, the Milwaukee Brewers are starting to talk postseason, which means postseason games at American Family Field.
Luckily for fans, they will have their opportunity at getting tickets with an early-access event the Brewers are hosting on Friday.
Milwaukee Brewers to host pep rally
The Brewers announced Monday that tickets for the first round of the postseason will go on sale Friday, September 20 at 10AM. However, Brewers fans are invited to a drive-thru pep rally starting at 6 A.M. until 9 A.M. where they can see some of Wisconsin’s greatest across all sports, receive a Brewers car flag, and have early access to purchase postseason tickets.
Fans will be greeted by sports personalities such as Milwaukee Brewers legend Robin Yount, Green Bay Packers superstar Donald Driver, Brewers manager Pat Murphy, Milwaukee Bucks star Sidney Moncrief, Wisconsin Badgers basketball great Brian Butch, Wisconsin Badgers football alum Tarek Saleh, and Badgers womens’ hockey player Casey O’Brien.
In addition to the car flag (one per person), fans will be given a special QR code that they can scan to purchase postseason tickets before they go on-sale to the general public at 10 A.M. While it is a drive-thru pep rally, there will be entertainment such as a DJ, and the first 5,000 fans in line will receive a free Johnsonville bratwurst. All fans will receive the QR code, respectively.
Brewers Magic Number: 3
Any combination of a Brewers win / Chicago Cubs losses help the number dwindle down, allowing the Brewers to get closer to clinching yet another National League Central division title.
They begin a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night, and all eyes will be on them as they face the number one team in baseball, and the Cubs look to take on the Oakland A’s on Monday as well.
The Milwaukee Brewers will either start their postseason journey in the Wild Card round or the divisional round. They currently trail the Philadelphia Phillies by four games, and the Los Angeles Dodgers by two.
