Brewers and Pirates starting pitchers for today’s game on June 16
- Brewers: RHP Julio Teheran
- Julio Teheran has been a shot in the arm since joining the Brewers. Despite not pitching in the big leagues since 2021 the 32 year old veteran has a 1.48 ERA and 0.95 WHIP through his first four starts with Milwaukee. So far he is yet to allow more than two runs in an outing and has covered at least five innings during each start.
- Pirates: LHP Rich Hill
- Milwaukee struggles against left-handed pitchers. This creates a favorable match up for 43 year old Rich Hill. He has a 4.23 season ERA but has covered 13.2 innings in June with just three earned runs allowed.
