Friday May 27, 2023 was a fun night down in the Milwaukee Brewers farm system. Two separate top 30 prospects finished games with walk-off home runs. One game was at the Double-A level with the Biloxi Shuckers and the other at the A-level with the Carolina Mudcats.
Two top Milwaukee Brewers prospects hit walk-off home runs on the same night.
In the midst of a 0-21 funk at the plate top prospect Jackson Chourio stepped into the batters box with his team trailing by a run in the bottom of the 10th inning. Two runners were on base and in a 1-0 count Chourio swung at a pitch he liked and ended the game.

For Chourio this is his second walk-off home run of the season. His first one came in mid April during a multi home run game.
The second Milwaukee Brewers prospect to hit a walk-off home run on Friday night was Hedbert Perez. He is currently the organization’s 16th ranked prospect and is just 20 years old. It’s been a slow start to the season for him, but he made his first home run of the year count in a big way!
Hedbert Perez’s first homer of the season is of the walkoff variety. He has lost most of his prospect hype, but it’s clear how much his teammates love him. Very cool moment.
