The Milwaukee Brewers were coming off of a disappointing series against the St. Louis Cardinals where they dropped the final two games of a three game series.  They managed to get the bats rolling during their first game against the Oakland Athletics as they put up crooked numbers in three innings en route to a 11-3 victory.

Milwaukee Brewers hit back-to-back home runs in a five run second inning.

With two runners on base and Rhys Hoskins at the plate he mashed a three run homer to put the Brewers on the board.  One pitch later Joey Ortiz also went deep.  Milwaukee continued to put up runs afterwards when Jackson Chourio singled in a run after Oakland Athletics left fielder Miguel Andujar had a fielding error.

Two more Milwaukee Brewers runs were scored in the fourth inning.

In the fourth inning Milwaukee mounted a two out rally.  After the first two batters of the inning were retired Sal Frelick hit a double, Jackson Chourio traded places with him, and then Blake Perkins hit an infield single but Chourio scored on an error by the Athletics second baseman.  This put the Brewers up 7-1.

In the ninth inning four more Milwaukee Brewers runs were scored.

With a 7-3 lead in the top of the ninth inning Milwaukee put up another crooked number.  After the first three Brewers reached base Gary Sanchez hit a bases clearing triple.  Sanchez then scored a batter later off a Rhys Hoskins SAC fly.
