The Milwaukee Brewers had a very intriguing 2023 MLB draft. Offensively they selected two promising college bats in Brock Wilken and Mike Boeve. They also selected some promising high school shortstops in Eric Bitonti, Cooper Pratt, and Josh Adamczewski. Of these selections two of them are off to a tremendous start in early Arizona Complex League (ACL) play.
Brock Wilken and Cooper Pratt are impressing in early ACL play for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Brock Wilken, the Brewers first round selection out of Wake Forest, has impressed in his first seven ACL games. He has seven hits in 21 at-bats that include one home run, one triple, and a walk-off single. At the plate he has also drawn four walks.
Welcome to the Crew, Brock Wilken!

Another player who is doing good things is 18 year old Cooper Pratt. He made his ACL debut on Wednesday, August 2 and went three-for-three with an RBI while also scoring twice. One of his hits went for extra bases as he collected a double.
Of these two players it is likely that Cooper Pratt remains in Arizona for the remainder of the year. Brock Wilken has a chance at joining one of the affiliated teams at some point. Mike Boeve could also join him as well.
