It was almost a perfect week for the Brewers the week of August 5-11. They swept the Atlanta Braves in dominating fashion and nearly swept the Cincinnati Reds. Milwaukee defeated Atlanta 10-0, 8-5, and 16-7 while also winning 8-3 and 1-0 against Cincinnati. The Brewers lone loss came on Sunday, August 11 when they lost by a score of 4-3.

This week the Brewers and Dodgers will meet for four games at American Family Field. This series will determine the season series winner and have playoff tie-breaker implications.
