The Milwaukee Brewers will have a decision to make soon about number #4 prospect right-handed pitcher Jacob Misiorowski and he is ranked #72 overall on mlb.com. General manager Matt Arnold is currently aware of what the right-handed pitching prospect has been doing in Triple-A with the Nashville Sounds so far this season.

Misiorowski at some point is projected to be called up during the 2025 MLB season. It will be interesting to see when he will receive his promotion to the MLB level. Milwaukee has a 23-25 record so far this season. There is a chance at some point that he could also make an impact at the MLB level once he is called up. What’s the latest with him?
Milwaukee Brewers General Manager Matt Arnold and Others Comment On When Jacob Misiorowski Could Be Called Up

Last week, Misiorowski threw 103 mph during a start for the Sounds against the Memphis Redbirds. This caught a lot of people’s attention. He has pitched in nine games and has started in eight games for Nashville so far in the 2025 minor league baseball season. Misiorowski has pitched in 49.1 innings and has given up 25 hits and eight runs. He has also walked 19 batters and has struck out 59 batters. His WHIP is 0.89.
With the way he is performing, there is a chance that he could be called up sooner rather than later, but Arnold may feel there is no rush with him despite getting some arms back soon. Arnold said,
“I mean, he’s definitely gotten our attention with what he’s been able to do. Not just the stuff, because he’s always had the stuff. It’s really just the ability to start and to execute through a lineup, command the ball. The way that he’s overwhelming for hitters at times is something that’s been pretty impressive.”
There is no doubt that the Brewers will make room for him when they decide to promote him to the MLB level. He is 23 years old and was a second-round pick in the 2022 MLB Draft and has been getting better over time. Brewers farm director Tom Flanagan said about Misiorowski’s performance right now in the minor leagues,
““He should be really confident right now, and then the call is not coming and you have a little chip on your shoulder. Like Chad Patrick, a different style of pitcher but a really good arm, who kind of went through that last year. Robert Gasser the year before. More importantly, I think Miz realizes that he’s putting it together from outing to outing right now. It’s getting a little better each time. That’s a win for everybody. It’s just a matter of how long you let that [go], where it’s continuing to build versus wasting bullets. I think he’s still got things to work on in terms of harnessing it.”
What is going to be important is that whenever the Brewers decided to call up the prospect to the MLB, he is going to have an immediate impact and stay at the MLB level for a long time. Arnold also said about the star prospect pitcher,
“I certainly think Miz has the type of stuff that you want to take care of. He has that kind of upside for us. And so you want to make sure if and when a guy arrives at the big league level that you put them in a position to succeed.”
Most likely, he will be in the starting rotation for Milwaukee when he is called up to the MLB level as well. There is a chance that he will have a few more starts with Nashville before being promoted. There is no doubt that the Brewers fanbase is looking forward to the day that he gets promoted to the big leagues also.
