The Milwaukee Brewers are back in winning ways after they shut out the Detroit Tigers who dominated them the night before. Big part of this win was their newest pitcher Quinn Priester and Pat Murphy can only thank the front office for it.

Priester, who came to the game 1-0 as a starter, recorded five hitless innings. He also allowed just three walks in his stint.
Murphy needed a pitcher that can deliver as his bullpen has been thinned out by injuries. They needed one as soon as possible and so they traded for Priester with the Boston Red Sox.
Not everyone was convinced but Priester is now letting his game talk.
“The Ivory Tower does it again,” Murphy said post-game.
The Ivory Tower, which metaphorically refers to the higher-ups, is his nickname for general manager Matt Arnold.

“Hat’s off to them for finding a guy in Triple-A. Pretty good so far. Looks like he has a lot to work with. Great kid and a competitor. They strike again.”
Milwaukee Brewers welcome Priester with open arms
Many Brewers fans are changing their minds about Priester after his impressive start.
He is winning the hearts of everyone but to him, that has a lot to do with the kind people surrounding him.
Priester is comfortable right away with his new team. He is crediting his new teammates for that.

“It’s the guys. You, know I think we have a special group of guys in this clubhouse who want to win, and they understand that part of winning is developing those relationships,” Priester told reporters after the game.
“It’s been really cool to be welcomed with open arms and be myself.”
