20 year old Brewers prospect Luis Castillo had himself quite the weekend. From July 26-28 he collected 16 RBI’s. On July 26 he went 4-4 with two home runs, a double, and six RBI’s. A day later he went 2-4 with two RBI’s. Finally on July 28 he went 3-4 with two more home runs, another double, and eight RBI’s. Overall he went 9-12 over these three games with four home runs, two doubles, and 16 RBI’s.

In 2021 Dominican Republic native Luis Castillo signed with the Brewers organization. He was in the same International Signing class that featured Jackson Chourio, Gregory Barrios, Daniel Guiilarte, Hendry Mendez, Jadher Areinamo, and others. The outfielder is enjoying his most productive season yet in 2024 that includes 14 home runs, 60 RBI’s, and a .712 OPS.
