Milwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Joey Wiemer was in the running for an opening day roster spot after a good spring training, but ultimately the team elected to have him start the year at Triple-A. However, on opening day Luis Urias injured his hamstring and as a result he will require a trip to the injured list. In correspondence Milwaukee has called up Joey Wiemer to play right field. This will push Brian Anderson to third base.
