Milwaukee Brewers prospect Jacob Misiorowski was on the mound on Thursday in Triple-A for the Nashville Sounds and they were facing the Memphis Redbirds. Misiorowski is the fourth ranked prospect in the Brewers farm system, according to MLB.com.

There is a chance that he could be called up later in the season for the Brewers. Entering the weekend, Milwaukee has a 21-23 record, and they are in third place in the National League Central. Pitching has not been a strength for this team, but the hitting has also struggled. At some point, Misiorowski could be called up. What did he do in the minor leagues on Thursday that was impressive?
Milwaukee Brewers Prospect Jacob Misiorowski Throws 103 MPH In Latest Outing

In Thursday’s game between the Sounds and the Red Birds, the Brewers #4 prospect was on the mound. Sam Dykstra of mlb.com reported about what Misiorowski did during his outing for Nashville against Memphis. Dykstra said,
“But the highlight of the righty’s young season came with two outs in the sixth inning Thursday.
Facing Memphis cleanup hitter Luken Baker with two runners in scoring position, Misiorowski threw six straight four-seam fastballs, all at triple-digits. The final came with plenty of adrenaline – a 103.0 mph heater that blew past Baker’s swing at the top of the zone. It was the fastest pitch recorded by a Nashville hurler since Statcast was first used across all of Triple-A in 2023. For reference, the fastest pitch ever thrown by a Brewer in the Majors in the Statcast Era (since 2015) was Abner Uribe’s 103.3 mph four-seamer on Aug. 23, 2023.
Misiorowski touched 100+ nine different times and averaged 98.3 mph on his fastball on the afternoon. He also mixed in his mid-90s slider, mid-80s curveball and upper-80s changeup, getting two or more whiffs on each offering. His lone blemish came when Thomas Saggese hit a solo homer with one out in the first inning on a 2-0 fastball.”
It is something that the #4 ranked prospect in the Brewers farm system is throwing absolute gas in the minor leagues. Misiorowski is the number #72 ranked overall prospect, according to MLB.com. In Thursday’s outing, he pitched seven innings. Misiorowski gave up four hits and one run. He also walked one batter and struck out five batters in the game.
In nine games total and eight games started for Nashville in 2025. He has a 3-0 record with a 1.46 ERA. In 49.1 innings pitched, Misiorowski has given up 25 hits and eight runs. He has also walked 19 batters and has struck out 59 batters. His WHIP is 0.89.
He is 23 years old. If he continues to pitch like this, the Brewers will probably have to call him up from the minor leagues at some point. When they decide to call up Misiorowski, it will be interesting to see if he will be a starter in the rotation or if he pitches out of the bullpen. Misiorowski will more likely be a starting pitcher for them and will have a chance to prove to be the front-line starter for years to come.
