Milwaukee Brewers star rookie Jackson Chourio is finally starting to get some recognition across Major League Baseball. The 20 year old has been one of the best hitters in the game since the calendar flipped to June and he now has ascended into MLB’s top 10 hitter power rankings.

Since June 2 Jackson Chourio has posted a .321/.378/.557 slash line with 14 home runs, 53 RBI, and 13 stolen bases. This gives him the highest batting average and on-base percentage since that time. He also is third highest in on-base plus slugging (.935), and fourth in slugging percentage.

On Thursday, September 5 MLB Network released their top 10 hitter power rankings. Jackson Chourio came in ninth on that list. Ahead of him was Brent Rooker (8), Francisco Lindor (7), Vladimir Guerrero Jr (6), Yordan Alvarez (5), Juan Soto (4), Bobby Witt Jr (3), Shohei Ohtani (2), and Aaron Judge (1). Lawrence Butler of the Oakland Athletics rounded out the list at 10th.
