Milwaukee Brewers top prospect Jackson Chourio has begun the 2023 season in Double-A Biloxi. Chourio spent the last week of the 2022 at this Minor League level and he did not hit a home run. It only took him until his fourth game this year before crushing his first Double-A home run. Later in the game, he ended up hitting a walk off home run as well!

In the fifth inning, Jackson Chourio mashed an opposite field two-run long ball. He then went on to hit a game winning home run to left centerfield. Not too many 19 year old players have the ability to do this against the level of competition he is facing.
Chourio, who is currently the top overall prospect according to Baseball America, hit 20 home runs a season ago. It’s likely that he will spend a good majority of time in Biloxi this year, but if he performs well he could earn a promotion.
