Milwaukee Brewers Jackson Chourio continues to make history in Double-A with the Biloxi Shuckers. Earlier this year he surpassed Corey Ray for the franchise’s most RBI in a single season. Most recently he became the second teenager since 2005 to have 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in Double-A or above.

Having a 20/20 season is an accomplishment in itself, but for Jackson Chourio to be one of two teenagers since 2005 to accomplish this in an upper level in the minor leagues is quite incredible. What’s even crazier is that he has way over 20 stolen bases. 35 is the number of steals he currently has.
Another incredible feat that Jackson Chourio has done this year is that he currently is the only player in all of the minor leagues with 20+ home runs, 20+ doubles, and 20+ steals. There are only two more weeks left in the minor league regular season so he could end the year alone in this category.
Jackson Chourio has done an incredible job of living up to the hype this 2023 season. He had his work cut out for him during the first half when pre-tacked baseballs slowed him down to the tune of a .253/.306/.407 slash line, but over his last 54 games he has improved to .307/.364/.528.
At this point there still is no knowing how high the ceiling is for Jackson Chourio.
