Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Adrian Houser began the 2023 season on the injured list with a groin issue. Prior to this announcement it was expected that he would begin the season in the bullpen. Today, an update was provided on his return from injury that indicates he will begin a Minor League rehab assignment and work as a multi-inning reliever.

The last time Adrian Houser had a consistent bullpen role was in 2019. That year he threw 30.2 innings and pitched to a 1.45 ERA and 33 strikeouts. Career wise, he has thrown 56.2 innings out of the bullpen with a 1.76 ERA and 51 strikeouts.
An exact time frame as to when he may be ready to return to the Milwaukee Brewers was not provided. However when he was first placed on the injured list it was expected that he would miss approximately three weeks.
