Prior to Frankie Montas’ last outing he had been a great pickup for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Outside of this disastrous appearance against the Diamondbacks Frankie Montas has been a great addition to the Brewers. Of his 10 starts this was just the second where he failed to reach the fifth inning. He additionally had two double digit strikeout games in September and has three outings with Milwaukee where he hasn’t allowed an earned run.
When will Frankie Montas get to pitch next?
With just six games remaining in the regular season Frankie Montas should get one more chance to take the mound before the playoffs. His next outing could be a scheduled abbreviated start in order to keep him fresh for a possible post-season appearance in which he could potentially be a starter. Regardless his next time out the primary objective will be hiding his pitch grips in order to avoid giving opposing batters a major advantage.
