Last week the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals squared off for a three game set. The first game of that series, Friday night’s game, was on Apple TV. With this players from each side were mic’d up. For the Brewers it was first baseman Rowdy Tellez and for the Royals it was designated hitter Vinnie Pasquantino.
Throughout the broadcast clips from each player were shared. Now a week later there is a lot more footage available that was not aired live on television. The video below is a five minutes worth of Rowdy Tellez and Vinnie Pasquantino mic’d up.
Milwaukee Brewer first baseman Rowdy Tellez had several comical moments while mic’d up.

The video begins with Luke Voit blasting into Rowdy Tellez’s mic saying, “Welcome to the all beef team baby. I am faster than Rowdy Tellez.”
Throughout the video Rowdy Tellez talks about his Jordan shoes and how he needs a shoe deal on several instances. This later creates a hilarious encounter when opposing pitcher Amir Garrett jokingly says, “Give me those shoes.”
Rowdy Tellez also talks about how he faced Amir Garrett several times throughout the minor leagues. He talks to Vinny Pasquantino about the World Baseball Classic. Lastly, Owen Miller hit his first home run as a Brewer in that game and Tellez was right in the center of the action for it.
Whether you are a Brewers or Royals fan this video is a great five minute watch.
