    The Milwaukee Brewers will continue to play on Friday on the road against the Detroit Tigers with the first pitch scheduled for 5:40 p.m. CT at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. Milwaukee had a much-needed off day on Thursday after they got swept on the road against the best team in baseball, the Philadelphia Phillies.

    For Friday’s game, the projected pitching matchup will be Freddy Peralta (4-3 record, 3.74 ERA) for the Brewers and Reese Olson (1-6 record, 2.48 ERA) for the Tigers. Manager Pat Murphy and the Milwaukee Brewers currently lead the NL Central with a 36-26 record this season.

    As for manager A.J. Hinch and the Detroit Tigers, they are currently in fourth place in the American League Central with a 31-31 record. Detroit has shown signs of improvement this season, but the division is also very good.

    Catcher William Contreras is projected to bat second for the Brewers on Friday against the Tigers. He has played in 62 games and has a .313 batting average with eight home runs and 44 RBIs, along with four stolen bases. His on-base percentage is .382.

    Shortstop Willy Adames is projected to bat fourth for Milwaukee on Friday. He has also played in 62 games and has a .248 batting average with nine home runs and 42 RBIs, along with eight stolen bases and two caught stealing attempts. His on-base percentage is .327.

    Freddy Peralta has pitched in 12 games so far this season for the Milwaukee Brewers. He has pitched in 67.1 innings and has given up 50 hits and 20 runs. Peralta has also walked 21 batters and has struck out 89 batters.

    Players To Watch For On the Detroit Tigers Against the Milwaukee Brewers

    Detroit Tigers center fielder Riley Greene is projected to bat second against the Brewers. He has played in 61 games so far this season. Greene has a .244 batting average with 11 home runs and 24 RBIs, along with three stolen bases. Greene has a .342 on-base percentage.

    Third baseman Matt Vierling is projected to bat leadoff for Detroit. In 55 games played so far this season, he has a .281 batting average with seven home runs and 28 RBIs, along with zero stolen bases. Vierling also has a .311 on-base percentage.

    Reese Olson has pitched in 11 games so far this season for the Tigers. He has pitched in 61.2 innings and has given up 46 hits and 22 runs. Olson has also walked 20 batters and has struck out 52.

    The Milwaukee Brewers are looking to bounce back against the Detroit Tigers this weekend. Milwaukee wants to hold onto its lead in the NL Central over the Chicago Cubs. As for Detroit, they are looking to get better every day and give themselves a chance in the American League wild-card race.
