Below we have a Milwaukee Brewers vs Detroit Tigers series preview including team news, probable starting pitchers, as well as an injury report.
Milwaukee Brewers (15-7) News
After going 7-3 on a west coast road trip, the Brewers returned to Milwaukee where they most recently lost their second series of the year by winning just one game against the Red Sox. They were in position to take the rubber match on Sunday before a disastrous nine run eighth inning blew the game wide open. Across the big leagues they are the only remaining team that has not lost back-to-back games and they will look to keep that streak alive against the Detroit Tigers.
Detroit Tigers (7-13) News
The Tigers are entering this series against Milwaukee on a four game losing streak. They were just swept by the Baltimore Orioles. Three out of those four losses were by a one run margin, so they have been in position to win games. Their biggest struggle this year has been from the offensive in which they are currently last in the league in runs scored (60), batting average (.209), and slugging percentage (.323).
