The Milwaukee Brewers have won four of their last five and are just a game behind the Chicago Cubs for first place in the National League Central Division. However, they are about to embark on a long 10-game road trip that begins with a four-game series out on the west coast against the San Francisco Giants.
It has been no secret that the Brewers’ pitching has been questionable so far early in the season. While they are tied for the Major League lead in team shutouts, they also have some inconsistent pieces in their bullpen and far too many injuries to their starting rotation.
Fortunately, Milwaukee will be getting Tobias Myers back from his oblique injury that he suffered during Spring Training. While nothing has been announced, it is fair to assume he will be the Brewers starting pitcher on Thursday.
And while fans will be excited to see Myers back, they are even more excited about another pitcher who has finally been called up to the Majors.
The Milwaukee Brewers Have Called Up Craig Yoho from Triple-A Nashville

In order to have some more reliable arms in their bullpen, the Brewers decided to call up a prospect that many fans feel should have made the Opening Day roster to begin with: Craig Yoho.

In eight appearances for the Nashville Sounds this season, Yoho has posted a 0.00 ERA in 9.2 innings of work. He has nine strikeouts and three walks (and two hit batters).
Last season, Yoho sent shockwaves through the Brewers’ minor league system as he dominated on every level at which he played. Between high-A, double-A, and triple-A in 2024, Yoho had 101 strikeouts in just 57.2 innings of work along with a sparkling 0.94 ERA.
His changeup, nicknamed the yo-yo, is said to rival Devin Williams’ air bender, and some think it is an even better pitch.
In order to make room for Yoho on the roster, Milwaukee sent Logan Henderson back down to Nashville. One would assume that this is just a temporary move as Henderson pitched six innings of one-run ball while striking out nine on Easter Sunday in what was his Major League debut.
