The Milwaukee Brewers and Miami Marlins have both made roster moves prior to their second out of three games against one another. Miami made a splash trade by sending Jazz Chisholm to the New York Yankees whereas the Brewers placed one of their most dependable relievers on the 15-day injured list.

Heading to the injured list is 27 year old rookie southpaw Bryan Hudson. Hudson has been a pleasant surprise for Milwaukee this year after being acquired during the off-season from the Los Angeles Dodgers. This year he has pitched to a 1.60 ERA across 35 appearances in which 16 of those games were multi inning outings. His time in between appearances had been increasing lately and he now officially has landed on the IL (retroactive July, 24).
Bryan Hudson will undergo a MRI on his shoulder.
Per Dominic Cotroneo Bryan Hudson is undergoing an MRI to evaluate the severity of his injury and establish a timeline for return. Cotroneo notes that there is hope he will pitch again during the 2024 regular season but they want to wait until the imaging is complete to determine that.
LHP Tyler Jay was activated as a result of the Milwaukee Brewers placing Bryan Hudson on the IL.
30 year old Tyler Jay, who was just acquired via trade with the New York Mets, has been activated as a result of Bryan Hudson landing on the IL. Milwaukee gave up TJ Shook in order to acquire him. Jay made his MLB debut this year and gave up four runs across 4.2 innings pitched with the Mets.
