Milwaukee Brewers: 23 Year Old OF Bladimir Restituyo Signs With Crew (Source)

According to a source, the Milwaukee Brewers have signed outfielder Bladimir Restituyo to a 2025 MiLB deal.  Over the past week, he is the second player from the Colorado Rockies system to sign with the Crew.  Outfielder Jimmy Herron, who hits for average and power while making good contact, also joined the team.

Biloxi Shuckers media relations and broadcaster Javik Blake was the first to report that Milwaukee was adding Bladimir Restituyo on a 2025 MiLB deal.  Bladimir Restituyo has spent the last two seasons with the Rockies Double-A team, so there is a real possibility that he begins his Brewers tenure with the Shuckers.  He originally signed with Colorado as an international free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2017.

Bladimir Restituyo statistics 

A few things stand out when looking over Bladimir Restituyo’s statistics.  Good things are that he consistently hits for a high batting average (.272 throughout his career), he doesn’t strike out much (career 19% k rate), and he can steal bases (anywhere from 17-31 stolen bases each year since 2021).  Some negatives include being a massive pull hitter (46-54% each year since 2018)and he does not draw a lot of walks (career 3.8% walk rate); which results in low on-base percentages each year (career .298 OBP).
