Catcher William Contreras was evaluated for a concussion after Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Reds. For now, he is projected to bat second on Monday against the Los Angeles Angels, but that is subject to change.
First baseman Rhys Hoskins is projected to bat fifth for the Brewers. He has played in 50 games so far this season and has a .222 batting average with 10 home runs and 28 RBIs, along with two stolen bases. His on-base percentage is .317. Hoskins has been a very good acquisition for manager Pat Murphy this season.

Left fielder Taylor Ward is projected to bat third for the Los Angeles Angels. He has a .240 batting average with 12 home runs and 36 RBIs, along with two stolen bases and three caught stealing attempts. Ward has played in 69 games this season and also has a .321 on-base percentage.
Jose Soriano has pitched in 14 games this season for Los Angeles and has also started in 12 games. He has pitched in 72.1 innings and has given up 57 hits and 32 runs. Soriano has walked 28 batters and has struck out 60 batters.
