The Milwaukee Brewers have had their way with the New York Mets during the first two games of a three game series. Offensively the Brew Crew has put up 19 runs while tallying seven home runs. On the mound, the pitching staff has tossed back to back shutouts that includes 12 scoreless innings from their starting pitchers.
During the sixth inning of game two, the Milwaukee Brewers hit three consecutive home runs off of star pitcher Max Scherzer. Those home runs were hit by Rowdy Tellez, Brian Anderson, and Garrett Mitchell. A frame later, Brian Anderson and Garrett Mitchell hit home runs again in back-to-back fashion.
