Its been a season of runs for the Miami Dolphins under first-year coach, Mike McDaniel. The Dolphins began the year with a 3-0 record but would quickly find themselves in a slump, partly due to the concussion issues with starting QB, Tua Tagovailoa. Following a three-game skid, Miami would embark on a five-game winning streak to run their record to 8-3 and looking to compete with the Buffalo Bills for an AFC East title. However, it’s been tough sledding, to say the least for Miami over the past month-plus as the Dolphins head into week 18 on the back of a five-game losing streak and on the cusp of missing the playoffs altogether.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Dolphins as the QB position is still in flux following a third concussion for Tua Tagovailoa coupled with Teddy Bridgewater’s apparent hand injury, which he suffered after attempting to tackle New England Patriots Safety, Kyle Dugger, after he (Bridgewater) threw a pick-six to give up the lead, en-route to a 23-21 victory for the Patriots.
