Marquette Golden Eagles forward Oso Ighodaro is getting prepared for the 2024 NBA Draft. He participated in the NBA Draft Scouting Combine. According to Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Golden State Warriors will be bringing in Ighodaro for a workout on Thursday.

Ighodaro in many NBA mock drafts has been featured as a second-round pick. He played in 36 games last season for Marquette. Oso Ighodaro averaged 13.4 PPG, 6.9 RPG, 2.9 APG, 1.3 BPG, and 1.1 SPG. Oso Ighodaro also shot 57.6% from the field and 62.3% from the free-throw line. He did not attempt three-point shots a season ago.
Oso Ighodaro helped the Marquette Golden Eagles basketball program to a Big East Regular Season title and a Big East Tournament title in 2022-2023. In 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, they were a number two seed in the NCAA Tournament in both seasons. He was also named to the All-Big East Second Team in both years.
The Golden State Warriors Will Pick 52nd In the 2024 NBA Draft and Maybe Marquette Golden Eagles Oso Ighodaro Will Still Be Available Then

Golden State will only have one pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. It will be the 52nd overall pick in the second round. The Warriors are a team that will need to start a rebuild at some point. The glory days of Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green appear to be behind them. They have won four titles over the past decade together.
During the 2023-2024 season, the Golden State Warriors finished with a 46-36 record in a very difficult Western Conference. Golden State was the 10th seed in the West and they lost to the 9th seed Sacramento Kings in the NBA Play-In Tournament.

Klay Thompson will be a free agent and it will also be interesting to see what the future holds for Draymond Green in Golden State. The Warriors do not have enough depth in the frontcourt. Dario Saric and Trayce Jackson-Davis were two players who saw minutes for the Golden State Warriors this year.
If Oso Ighodaro was still available with the 52nd pick, it would not be a surprise to see them draft him. They still need more help in the front court. Ighodaro could receive minutes off the bench for head coach Steve Kerr as a rookie. This also won’t be the last team that Ighodaro will work out for before the 2024 NBA Draft.
