The Marquette Golden Eagles had three players who scored in double figures against the Stony Brook Seawolves on Monday night. Kam Jones led the way with 32 points. There is a chance that he could very well average 25.0 PPG or more this season in college basketball.

Chase Ross also scored 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and four assists for head coach Shaka Smart. There is a chance that Ross is a potential breakout player this season for the Golden Eagles. David Joplin also scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Marquette. It will be interesting to see if those three players will be the top three scorers on the team all season long.

Tony Skinn is the head coach of the George Mason Patriots. They faced the North Carolina Central Eagles and won that game on Monday 75-58. Darius Maddox led the way for George Mason with 17 points and five rebounds.

Three players each scored 11 points for the Patriots on Monday and they were Jalen Hayes, Brayden O’Connor, and Giovanni Emejuru. It will be interesting to see how well George Mason will play against the Marquette Golden Eagles. The odds are that Marquette will probably win this game by double digits easily.
