Kam Jones established himself as the next player whose jersey Marquette Golden Eagles will retire. Fans and scouts saw him last season develop into an all around player and eventually become the second top scorer in program’s history.

Will his brilliance translate in the pro league? Jones declared himself for the 2025 NBA draft but predictions are not that kind to him despite being part of the Consensus second-team All-American (2025) and the best PG in Big East by being named to the First-team (2025).
He’s busy right now in the NFL combine and he is making progress.
Ashley Washburn of TMJ4 news said Jones is already talking to two teams. He also revealed that he received advice from his former teammates who are in the NBA now.
#MUBB Kam Jones has had interviews with OKC and the Miami Heat so far at the NBA Combine with a handful more scheduled to round out the week. He said his former teammates (Omar, Oso, Kolek) have all been helpful throughout this pre-draft process.

Kam Jones on what he can offer
Dylan Harper of Rutgers and Jeremiah Fears of Oklahoma emerge as the top point guards in this class and they are expected to be drafted early.
Jones, for his part, believes he is among the best players of his positions and can offer everything a team wants from a PG.

“What part of your game do you think is gonna allow to get your foot on the door of the NBA level right of the bat,” a reporter asked.
“Pretty much what I bring to the table. I don’t think there’s anything you could ask of a point guard that I can’t do. I play at a pretty high level on both ends, honestly.”
