After much anticipation the Milwaukee Brewers and Luke Voit have agreed on a Major League contract. His base salary for the 2023 season is $2 million, however he can earn up to an extra $3 million in performance bonuses. Should he reach all of the set performance bonus milestones, he could earn a maximum of $5 million.

Voit’s performance bonuses come at plate appearance milestones. He can earn an extra $500,000 if he reaches 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, or 500 plate appearances. In addition to potentially earning $5 million in 2023, Voit’s contract comes with a $12 million team option for 2024 with no buyout.
