For the first time in the 2022-23 season, the Bucks lost a game by more than 20 points. Their eighth loss of the season came at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies, who defeated the Bucks 142-101, a 41-point loss. It was the third-worst loss for the Bucks since 2013-14, otherwise known as the Giannis era.
The Bucks twice since 2013-14 lost games by 42 points. On November 21, 2014, Toronto beat the Bucks 124-82. On October 21, 2021, the Miami Heat matched that 42-point spread with a 137-95 win over the Bucks. Both of those games were road games for the Bucks… as was the recent 41-point loss to Memphis.
