Brook Lopez joined the Milwaukee Bucks before the 2018 season. That year he played 81 games and showed his ability to play elite defense, shoot the three, and captivate a fan base. Ever since Lopez has been a fan favorite in Milwaukee. From his pre-game WWE routines, to his post-game interviews, and his in-game performances, Milwaukee has grown to love Brook Lopez. On February 6th, 2023 Brook Lopez reached a milestone with the Milwaukee Bucks that had fans ecstatic on social media. Lopez became the 148th player in NBA history to score his 15,000th NBA point.

In his 15-year career that has spanned three franchises, Lopez has scored 3,602 of his points with the Bucks. He remains the all-time scoring leader for the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets franchise (10,444). It was fitting, too, that he reached the milestone with a three-pointer – which was the 499th of his Bucks career. He had made 249 triples in his decade in the league prior to joining Milwaukee. This milestone isn’t the only one Lopez has reached this year. On February 1st Lopez became one of 13 players to have 120+ blocks in 10 or more seasons. Tim Duncan leads this list of elite defenders with 16 seasons with 120+ blocked shots. Here are the 13 players with 10 or more seasons with 120+ blocked shots.
- 16-Tim Duncan
- 14-Hakeem Olajuwon
- 13-Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
- 12-Dikembe Mutumbo
- 11-Alonzo Mourning, Shaquille O’Neal, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing
- 10-Brook Lopez, Marcus Camby, Larry Nance, Mark Eaton, Tree Rollins
It is also the third season in Lopez’s career with the Bucks that he had 120+ blocks. He joins Alton Lister and Harvey Catchings who each had four seasons with 120+ blocks with the Bucks, and Andrew Bogut who had three seasons with 120 or more blocked shots with Milwaukee.
