The Packers defense had a much better showing against the Bears on Sunday. While there is much room for improvement, the defense looked absolutely suffocating at times. The Packers lone turnover came in the second half. As the Bears were trying to mount a comeback, Jaire Alexander had a sensational interception. After the game, Jaire Alexander got the opportunity to commentate his own interception.
Alexander Was Hyped About The Pick
This is gold. 😂

You gotta love everything about this. He is clearly jacked about getting a pick that all but sealed the game. It was an impressive interception too. Alexander had to come across the field and use his closing speed to undercut the throw. Justin Fields clearly thought he could fit the ball in that window but Alexander shut it quickly. The commentary is amazing. Alexander makes a noise as the interception happens that is awesome. The people interviewing him are clearly just as hyped as he is. Jaire Alexander should commentate every interception.
Packers Defense Looked Better This Week
Everyone on the Packers defense looked better this week. The run defense is still a concern but the passing defense looked outstanding. Outside of one gadget play Justin Fields and the Bears offense had nothing going. Jaire Alexander is a big part of that but Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas both played better this week. The Packers will need this group to play at an elite level once they start playing better receiving corps.
Every time Jaire Alexander gets an interception, I need his postgame commentary on it. Heck every time anyone in the secondary gets an interception I want Alexander’s commentary on it. Any time a player signs a big extension there is always a worry that play will drop off. This does not seem to be the case with Alexander. He looks to be playing at a very high level this season. They will need him next week as the Packers travel to Tampa Bay.
