Packers legend LeRoy Butler waited far too long to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After two decades of being snubbed, Butler was finally selected for induction into Canton. The video of Charles Woodson showing up at his front door to tell him the news went viral on social media.

Now that he is finally taking his rightful place among the NFL’s best players, LeRoy Butler has made one final decision regarding his induction ceremony: who will speak for him when he is inducted. He revealed his choice on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.
LeRoy Butler Has Chosen His Wife and Gilbert Brown to Induct Him into the Hall of Fame

LeRoy Butler has remained important to many former and current Green Bay Packers players. The decision of which to choose to speak for him must have been a difficult one. One would have to assume that if Reggie White was still around, that he would have been his choice.
Unfortunately, the Hall of Fame defensive end passed away years ago. So, LeRoy Butler has turned to his wife and Gilbert Brown to be his induction speakers.

When Is the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony?
LeRoy Butler and the rest of the Hall of Fame Class of 2022 will be enshrined on August 6, 2022. The rest of the class includes Tom Boselli, Cliff Branch, Art McNally, Sam Mills, Richard Seymour, Dick Vermeil, and Bryant Young.
Prior to the ceremony, the Hall of Fame Game will be played in Canton at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders. Tom Boselli played his Hall of Fame career with the Jaguars while Cliff Branch and Richard Seymour played for the Raiders.
