The Milwaukee Bucks have started the season off great despite missing some key pieces. Any team with Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to be good. However, the Bucks do need to get all of their pieces back. While they have gotten some of them back, they are still missing one piece. Khris Middleton is nearing a return from his wrist injury.

Khris Middleton Nearing Return From Injury
NBA insider Shams Charania has reported that Middleton’s return is imminent. While there are no guarantees, he could return as soon as Friday against the Lakers. This will be a big boost for the Milwaukee offense. While Giannis’ numbers have been out of this world, relying so much on one person only works for so long. The Bucks have been able to sustain success because of Middleton’s ability to score. He also helps create more room for Giannis and others to score the basketball. While they have survived without him well, it is not a great long-term plan.
Finally Back At Full Strength
It will be good for this team to finally be back at full strength. It will most likely take a week or two for everyone to settle into their new roles. Rotations will adjust slightly and how the basketball moves will change as well. The Bucks need to spend the middle of the season meshing as a team so they can be ready for a deep playoff run. Last season, Middleton’s presence was missed. The Bucks have been careful in bringing him back because they know he is so important.
Whether it is Friday or not, Khris Middleton is nearing a return from his wrist injury. Hopefully, it will be Friday and we can see how Middleton looks against the Lakers.
