Keys For the Packers To Beat the Chicago Bears

This is rivalry week for the Packers as they take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. The Packers and Bears are arguably the best rivalry in NFL history. The Packers have dominated the rivalry with only losing three times to the Chicago Bears since 2010 in recent history. This Sunday will be a huge game as the winner will be on top of the NFC North. The Chicago Bears are 3-2 and are looking to dethrone the Packers this Sunday. Here are the keys for the Packers.

Key#1-The Pass Rush Has to Pressure and Contain Justin Fields

Packers pass rush could be set for big game vs. Eagles

The Chicago Bears’ offensive line has been suspect this season. Justin Fields is tied for the fourth-most sacked quarterback in the NFL. However, the Bear’s offensive line has gotten better the last two weeks in run blocking and protecting Justin Fields. The pass rush has to get to Fields as he can pick a defense apart. Also, Justin Fields can do real damage if he gets out of the pocket with his legs. His mobility can give the Packers defense real problems if they can not contain him.

Key#2- The Offensive Line Will Be Tested Against a Dominant Pass Rush

Packers will keep starting offensive line under wraps until gametime in Week 1

The Packers offensive line, despite the constant reshuffling, has played really well this season protecting Aaron Rodgers. They have another huge test in the Chicago Bears pass rush that lead the NFL in sacks. The Bears are led by Khalil Mack who is a game changer when he is on the field. Robert Quinn has been good in his second season with the Bears. Then Akiem Hicks. who did not play on Sunday. will be expected to return this week. Hopefully Josh Myers and Elgton Jenkins are back that can really help the offensive line against a good pass rush. Can the Packers offensive line once again answer the bell once again?

Key#3- Davante Adams Is Dominant But The Packers Should Spread The Ball Around

Davante Adams set to return, Dalvin Cook out for Week 6 - The Athletic

Davante Adams is without a doubt the best wide receiver in the NFL right now. He is coming off a 200 yard receiving game against the Cincinnati Bengals this past Sunday. He is the guy, but it would be nice to spread the ball around now with opposing defenses keying in on him. Aaron Rodgers got in trouble when trying to force to ball to Adams. Aaron Rodgers has to spread the ball around. Other guys are open like Allan Lazard, but its up to Rodgers to get him the ball. They could use Davante Adams as a decoy to open other guys instead of force feeding him the ball.

Key#4 Stop The Duo of Allan Robinson and Darnell Mooney

Continuity at the core of Packers' secondary success

The Packers secondary gave up big plays to the Bengals this past Sunday. It is not getting any easier with Allan Robinson and Darnell Mooney. Robinson is an underrated receiver and can have some success. The Packers are going to have to find a way to slow him down. Darnell Mooney and Justin Fields are starting to have a connection these last two weeks. Mooney has given the Packers fits the last couple of matchups with ability to take the top off of defenses. In addition, Kevin King has a good chance of not playing Sunday. Joe Barry has to find a way to slow down Allan Robinson and Darnell Mooney or it is going to be a long day for the Packers defense.
